hardware set is aesthetically appealing and functional: holds secure
without use of epoxy and its mechanical connection allows for convenient
removal and re-installation in the field.  Its our favorite alternative
to permanently affixed handles.

in a custom folding knife project!

Details:
Tang
nuts are designed to fit in a 1/4″ diameter tang hole and are 5/16″
long.
When assembled, the nut set can accommodate up to a 1″ thick
handle when countersunk (5/16″ countersink hole, 1/8″ deep).  For
thinner handle widths, screws can be easily customized (shortened) with a
Dremel cut-off wheel.
